have been a consultant adult cardiologist for about 10 years and am currently practicing at King Fahad specialist hospital in Dammam. I have a special interest in heart failure, cardio-oncology, and device implantation. I have taken up a number of leadership roles, inclusive of Director of the Cardiac Center at the hospital, and then Associate Executive Director of Critical Care Services. Over the past few years, I have been privileged to be engaged with the healthcare transformation initiatives of the Kingdom. I started off with becoming the system of care lead for chronic diseases in the Eastern Health Cluster in 2018. This was followed by assuming the role of the chief of the Model of Care for the Eastern Health Cluster in 2019.
