Dr Al Owaifeer obtained his medical degree with honor from King Faisal University (Hufuf, Saudi
Arabia) in 2013.
Completed his residency training at the Riyadh Joint Ophthalmology Residency Program and was
certified with the Saudi Board in Ophthalmology in 2017.
Completed his glaucoma fellowship training at King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital in 2020.
Dr Al Owaifeer has more than 30 publications in the peer reviewed literature.
